Jance & Company, Inc., as
Construction Manager, completed a 65,000
square foot Surgery addition for the
Hospital which includes the Gift Shop,
Pharmacy, Reception area and various
administrative and medical offices.
Above the existing entrance
lobby ceiling of the Hospital were all of
the mechanical, electrical and communication
services |
|
which had to be relocated
without disrupting any of the services so that the
existing lobby could be demolished to
accommodate the new construction. The
construction consisted of a concrete-framed
building on seven foot diameter, fifty-foot
deep, drilled piers which were capable of
supporting a six-story building in
anticipation of a three-story surgery
addition over this project. The addition
included four surgery suites, recovery
areas, nurses’ stations, and other services
applicable to surgery. A new main entrance
and lobby were part of the construction. |
